A little corner
of the internet.

This is Chai’s space to make things, think out loud, and follow an idea a little further than planned.

The chess project is the first experiment. It uses real Stockfish analysis in your browser. Imported games and analysis stay on your device; public username imports use the official Chess.com and Lichess APIs.

A few things to know

This is an independent personal project, unaffiliated with Chess.com or Lichess. Move classifications and accuracy estimates use transparent, independent heuristics. Shallow engine analysis is provisional.

Stockfish.js is distributed under GPL v3. Read the engine license and build provenance. This site uses the Chess.com Neo piece images requested for the board. Original asset sources. These assets carry no claim of an open license or public redistribution permission. The earlier Cburnett set and its attribution remain in the project.

The training and review tools run in your browser. The training room includes 900 tactical exercises and 3,160 named opening lines, including 1,188 gambit variations. The gambit lab tests defenses from any checkpoint and plays continuations against Stockfish. On the review board, try alternative moves and compare them with the original game. The move coach explains legal engine continuations. The diary contains the first two handwritten pages alongside the supplied transcription. The projects page links to Icbiray’s music and Methane Co. A diary editor and free-form conversational coaching remain future work.
